Amazing place for ornamental grass, native plants and ground cover. David is very knowledgeable and so helpful. He helped us decide what grasses to pair with each other and has great insight. I highly recommend and definitely will back for years.

At Home Depot I overheard 2 couples talking about "this great place on South Bay road to get ornamental grasses" and I decided to stop by to check it out. So glad I did. I picked up 15 5-gal pampas and maiden grasses last week and came back today and 8 lemon cypress trees. Great knowledge and outstanding customer service from David. Thank you very much. As a new homeowner I had zeroed in on ornamental grasses as a key feature of our new yard. After visiting some nurseries and being disappointed with their selection and variety found David and ornamental grasses. It was such a great experience - between the expertise, the quality of the plants and the price it couldn’t have been a better experience. David takes the time to walk you through and get you everything you’re looking for and helping you understand how the plants will work in your yard.

On a whim, brought my mother to this place. We both Walked out with an amazing little Japanese Maple. David who runs the show here asked for a moment to grab the info list and walked me through the various trees and care FOR EACH ONE. I don’t know many operators who care that much. I recommend coming to David for all your ornamental needs for your yard. Knowledgeable, helpful, and a great guy.

Basically you are buying direct from the grower (David) who offers expert advice and reasonable prices. Quantity discounts are available. To me the primary advantage of buying my plants here is they are in great shape and not stressed or damaged like so many plants you find at the larger stores. David offers a host of grasses and native plants to choose from. So bring your mud shoes and take a walk through all the greenhouses. You are bound to learn a thing or two and may even walk away with some plants too!

I purchased 20 containers of Japanese Blood Grass this past weekend. It’s already home and planted and looks perfect in my yard. I’m not much of a green thumb—fortunately planting the grass was very easy.
If you’re looking for native plants, I’d highly recommend this place. They have lots of different plants to choose from. The owner and his son are very helpful, and it’s obvious to me they value their customers. They told me if one or two plants didn’t make it, they’d be happy to replace them. I thought the pricing was very reasonable too.

David and Samuel have a vast knowledge of the plants they sell as well as many other plants. They are very helpful and will take the time to look at all the plants as well as lay out the plants to see how they look. Can’t say enough good things about this nursery. Very Very good selection of grasses and very helpful as well. Will be going back again and again.
